Grand Canyon, AZ. November 9th 2005
My first trip arranged through our AAA. WE drove to Williams AZ where we spent the night at the Grand Central Lodge. Next day we attended a wester shootout performance and then took the Grand Canyon train to the Grand Canyon and ther we took the shuttle to all the visitor points along the Rim. Nice short enjoiable and relaxing few days. I am sure we will return again at another time.

San Antonio November 2nd 2005
Thanks to a P.A. Conference Deanna Attended in San Antonio TX, I got to go along and visit some of the interisting sights in the area. Top amon the places I visited was the Alamo, famous for the doomed resistance put by the alamo defenders against the much larger army of General Antonio López de Santa Ana. Some of the other sights I visited while Deanna was at her conference where the missions built by the Spanish in the 1800 and the beautiful River walk with riverside coffee shops, restaurants and all sorts of different shops.

Thoughts of this year. December 2004
As we are not in 2005 yet I have no Idea how it's going to turn out, previous years have seen a combination of happy and not so events, I was able to complete some of my plans and postponed others. Plans for this year is my retirement from Diebold, a company I worked at for many years, am happy to be with them, is company with many good people and a very good work environment. That said I am planning to leave solely because of my changing personal situation, age, financial situation, health, etc.. It will be a big change, but one thing is sure, everything always changes.
